The station also serves as a hub for the Miami-Dade County Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.


The South Dade TransitWay BRT service, which includes Homestead Station, is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2025. This service will provide rail-like travel times, iconic stations, level boarding through all doors, and pre-paid fares for speedy access.
