Westland is a city in Wayne County in the state of Michigan. A western suburb of Detroit, Westland is located about 18 miles west of downtown Detroit. As of 2022, the city had a population of 84,037. It is the 10th largest city and 12th largest municipality in Michigan. The City is known for having an abundance of parks. Hines Park is located in the northern region of Westland.
