The property is benefits by its ownership of the Industrial Development Agency. The IDA purchases the property and then leases it back to the owner for a set period of time. The ownership by the IDA allows for a PILOT payment instead of taxes for industrial properties. It is to encourage industrial development in the Buffalo area.
