The total number of employed people from July 2021 to July 2022 increased by 3.6 percent (5,471,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 32.2 percent (2,966,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Office and Administrative Support occupations with an increase of 7.3 percent. Following that was Management, Business and Financial occupations jumping 6.4 percent and the Management, Professional and Related occupations rising 5.8 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Farming, Fishing and Forestry occupations with a decrease of 51.7 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Installation, Maintenace and Repair occupations going down 48.3 percent and the Natural Resources, Construction and Maintenance occupations dropping 48.0 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 33.3 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from June 2021 to June 2022 increased by 4.2 percent (6,395,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 35.9 percent (3,549,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Production service occupations with an increase of 7.5 percent. Following that was the Production, Transportation and Material Moving occupations jumping 6.9 percent and the Transportation and Material Moving occupations rising 6.5 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Construction and Extraction occupations with a decrease of 48.5 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Production occupations going down 45.7 percent and the Natural Resources, Construction and Maintenance occupations dropping 44.9 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 37.7 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from May 2021 to May 2022 was unchanged from last month’s comparison, increasing 4.5 percent (6,831,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 37 percent (3,281,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in Service occupations with an increase of 8.3 percent. Following that was Construction and Extraction occupations jumping 7.5 percent and then a tie between Professional and Related occupations and Production occupations rising 6.6 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in Installation, Maintenance and Repair occupations with a decrease of 63.9 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Farming, Fishing and Forestry occupations going down 50.5 percent and Management, Business and Financial occupations dropping 49.3 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 38.2 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from April 2021 to April 2022 increased by 4.5 percent (6,831,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 40.8 percent (3,762,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Production occupations with an increase of 9.5 percent. Followng that was the Production, Transportation and Material Moving occupations rising 8.6 percent and the Transportation and Material Moving occupations jumping 8.0 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Farming, Fishing and Forestry occupations with a decrease of 66.4 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Natural Resources, Construction and Maintenance occupations going down 50.2 percent and Construction and Extraction occupations dropping 49.5 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 42.1 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from March 2021 to March 2022 increased by 5.1 percent (7,613,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 37.7 percent (3,737,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Service occupations with an increase of 9.4 percent. Following that was the Construction and Extraction occupations rising 8.8 percent and the Production occupations jumping 5.8 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Installation, Maintenance and Repair occupations with a decrease of 58.2 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Management, Business and Financial occupations going down 55.9 percent and the Management, Professional and Related occupations dropping 49.0 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 38.7 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from February 2021 to February 2022 increased by 5.0 percent (7,420,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 35.3 percent (3,704,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Construction and Extraction occupations with an increase of 10.5 percent. Following that was Service occupations rising 7.3 percent and Natural Resources, Construction and Maintenance jumping 6.7 percent.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Installation, Maintenance and Repair occupations with a decrease of 49.8 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Service occupations going down 46.0 percent and the Sales and Related occupations dropping 45.2 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 37.9 percent year-over-year.

The total number of employed people from January 2021 to January 2022 increased by 4.9 percent (7,235,000 people), while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 33.6 percent (3,642,000 people).
Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was in the Installation, Maintenance and Repair occupations with an increase of 8.5 percent. Tying at a rise of 8.3 percent were the Transportation and Material Moving occupations and the Service occupations.
For unemployment, the most significant difference was in the Installation, Maintenance and Repair occupations with a decrease of 55.7 percent. Rounding out the top three were the Management, Business and Financial occupations going down 42.7 percent and the Service occupations dropping 40 percent.
The overall unemployment rate total decreased 35.3 percent year-over-year.
