2024 REIT Offerings
As of June 12, publicly traded U.S. equity REITs raised $11.66 billion through capital offerings.
As of June 12, 2024, publicly traded U.S. equity REITs raised approximately $11.66 billion through capital offerings. Senior Debt offerings accounted for 60% of total capital raised, amounting to $6.98 billion, followed by common equity which amounted to $4.68 billion.
Specialty and Hotel topped the charts among the REIT property sectors. Among specialty sector, Crown Castle Inc., raised $1.69 billion through Common Equity, followed by another specialty sector REIT, American Tower Corporation which raised $0.60 billion via senior debt offerings.
