2024 REIT Returns
The Dow Jones Equity All REIT Index’s latest update on performance, from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
As of Aug. 2, the publicly traded U.S. equity REITs in the Dow Jones Equity All REIT Index posted a 13.51 percent total return. S&P Dow Jones Industrial and Office real estate indexes posted one-year total returns of 5.76 percent and 8.50 percent, respectively.
Among the office REITs, SL Green Realty Corp. recorded the highest one-year total return of 83.68 percent. Office Properties Income Trust displayed the lowest total return of -64.78 percent.
Innovative Industrial Properties REIT Inc. topped all the industrial-focused REITs as the company posted the highest one-year total return of 65.95 percent. Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. logged the lowest total return, at -5.50 percent.
