Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria Now Open to Guests

Houston—Hyatt Hotels Corp., together with Songy HighRoads, announced that the ninth Hyatt-branded hotel in the Houston area has opened its doors to guests. The new Hyatt Regency sits right next to the largest shopping mall in Texas, The Galleria®.

Located at 2626 Sage Road, the 14-story hotel is part of the 7.6-acre, mixed-use Galleria Plaza development that includes high-end retail, luxury apartments, as well as several office towers. Managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, the 325-key hotel is adjacent to the Hyatt Place Houston Galleria, currently under construction.

“We are delighted to welcome guests and the local community to our new hotel, located in the heart of one of Houston’s fastest growing neighborhoods and premiere shopping destinations,” Adam Patenaude, area manager, said in a statement. “Here, travelers can leave every detail to our dedicated hotel team, so they are free to break from routine if they choose or simply do things the way they want to do them.”

Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria features 11,000 square feet of functional space and an additional 7,800 square feet of lobby and gathering space. Hotel amenities include ten private meeting rooms, a heated outdoor swimming pool, free high-speed Internet access, and two full-service restaurants, among others.
