Jeffrey Roberts to Lead HFF IT Operations

HoustonHFF has expanded its Texas team with the recent addition of Jeffrey Roberts as chief information officer at its Houston office.

In his new role at HFF, Roberts will lead the company’s information technology (IT) department and manage all aspects of its IT vision, strategy and operations.

Prior to joining the firm, Roberts served as chief information officer at Carriage Services (CSV), the world’s third largest holding company of funeral homes and cemeteries. In his 20 years of experience leading global IT operations for large corporations, Roberts also served as CIO at Situs—a global commercial real estate advisor and servicer; Saxon Mortgage—a division of Morgan Stanley; and Litton Loan Servicing—a Goldman Sachs company.

Mr. Roberts graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tulsa, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He also holds an executive leadership certification from Rice University.

“Mr. Roberts will oversee HFF’s IT initiatives including our firm’s proprietary database, which compiles critical deal and capital markets data essential to driving our business, as well as leveraging how we utilize technology and computer systems to consistently deliver improved communication and experiences to our clients,” Nancy Goodson, HFF chief operating officer, said in a statement.
