Del Webb Stone Creek to Open RV, Boat Storage this Summer

Ocala, Fla.–Construction is underway for a new RV and boat storage facility at Del Webb Stone Creek, a retirement community made up of single-family homes in Ocala, Fla.

The location will become available for residents of the community this summer. Besides boats and recreational vehicles, the space will also be available for specialty hobby trailers for use in transporting classic or antique vehicles, motorcycles, small watercraft, ATVs or off-road motorbikes.

According to Sean Strickler, division president for Del Webb in the West Florida region, there are 53 spaces available at a cost of $125 to $250 per year depending on size.

The facility, owned and operated by the Stone Creek HOA, will add to a long list of amenities at Stone Creek. Last year, Del Webb opened a private softball field.

Del Webb Stone Creek, which is one of the largest Del Webb communities in the U.S., features Reflection Bay, an amenity center encompassing 45,000 square feet with a fitness center, newly remodeled Reunion clubhouse with event gathering areas, as well as recreational, social and educational activities to match every lifestyle. The community also features heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and spas, a softball field, fishing pier, and tennis, bocce, horseshoe and pickleball courts.

The Stone Creek Golf Club and the Stone Creek Grille are located immediately outside the neighborhood gates, offering residents a country club-like atmosphere.

Single-family homes at Del Webb Stone Creek cater to active adults and are priced from about $143,000 to nearly $336,000. There are nine home designs that range in size from 1,133 square feet of living space to more than 3,000 square feet.
