Kimpton to Open 176-Key Luxury Hotel in Paris

Paris—InterContinental Hotels Group recently announced plans to open the first Kimpton hotel in Paris. Featuring 149 guestrooms and 27 suites, the luxury hotel will be located in one of the city’s most sought-after districts, near the historic Paris Opera.

The new Kimpton hotel will feature a range of amenities for guests, including a luxury spa, fitness facilities, and state-of-the-art meeting space overlooking the high-end Parisian streets. The Kimpton Paris is set to open its doors in 2020.

“Bringing Kimpton to Paris marks another milestone for expansion of the brand into Europe, and we’re delighted to be working with AXA IM – Real Assets to bring Kimpton to France. This hotel will have one of the most coveted addresses in the city and is set to create unbelievable memories and experiences for guests – in the way that only Kimpton can,” IHG CEO Angela Brav said in prepared remarks.

The Kimpton Paris is the second Kimpton hotel to be signed in Europe, following the recent announcement that the brand was going global with the signing of a hotel in Amsterdam.
