Greystone Expands Austin Sales Team

Austin, Texas –Greystone has added 2 managing directors, Joe James and Kent Myers, to its multifamily sales group in Austin, Texas.

James and Myers bring multifamily sales experience totaling 25 years to Greystone’s growing advisory group. Both were previously with Marcus & Millichap, where they facilitated the sale of more than 28,500 multifamily units in the Texas market.

Since 2005 James has advised institutional and private sellers in Texas, with more than 16,500 multifamily units sold at a value in excess of $970 million. “Our team is excited to increase Greystone’s footprint in Texas,” he said in a prepared statement.

Myers has also made a strong impact on multifamily sales in Texas. While at Marcus & Millichap, he sold more than 12,000 multifamily units in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio and his native Houston. Over the course of 11 years he has focused on selling troubled assets and coordinating distressed debt workouts.
