Historic Manhattan Hotel Joins Hilton’s Curio Collection

New York—The historic Renwick hotel in Midtown Manhattan has opened its doors to guests as the latest addition to Hilton’s Curio Collection. Once home to iconic artists and writers such as John Steinbeck and Thomas Mann, the 173-key property is the first New York City hotel to join the upscale collection.

Housed in a 1920s brick building at 118 E. 40^th St., The Renwick is conveniently located just two blocks from Grand Central Station and close to Bryant Park, the New York Public Library and Times Square. The hotel has been fully renovated by design firm Stonehill & Taylor, and is owned by a joint venture between Meadow Partners and hotelAVE and managed by StepStone Hospitality.
