Quadrum Global Opens Arlo NoMad in NYC

New York—Only a few months after opening the first Arlo Hotel project in Hudson Square, Quadrum Global announced the opening of Arlo NoMad, a new 250-key “micro” hotel at 11 E. 31st St., in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. The project is the combined effort of a partnership between Quadrum Global, Simon Baron Development, Eagle Point Hotel Partners and KSNY.

Quadrum launched the Arlo brand earlier this year with the opening of the 325-key Arlo Hudson Square, which debuted in September.

Arlo NoMad is just a short walk from the Empire State Building, Herald Square and Madison Square Park, providing easy access to the area’s nightlife and restaurants. The location is suited for tourists and leisure travelers, as well as business visitors who will appreciate the proximity to all of Midtown’s office buildings, as well as the newly emerging area around Hudson Yards.

The hotel is focused on creating a memorable, organic experience, offering tech-integrated service, function-centric layouts, as well as locally inspired design and amenities. Guest service is enhanced through smart technologies such as self-check-in/check-out kiosks, complimentary fiber Wi-Fi, bedside USB charging stations and Bluetooth radio; music lounges, rooftop terraces and patios; entertainment with performances by up-and-coming artists; and workshops.

Arlo NoMad is also home to three upscale restaurants from Chef Dale Talde and partners David Massoni and John Bush: MASSONI, a new restaurant and bar featuring a menu of “Italian-ish” cuisine and market-driven ingredients from the New York area; BARlo, a second-floor bar, lounge and terrace offering rotating cocktail list and menu of small bites; and The Heights, a rooftop bar featuring a cocktail menu and views of both downtown and uptown Manhattan.
