New York—Global Holdings selected JLL as office leasing agent for the Class A Nomad Tower at 1250 Broadway in Midtown South Manhattan.
The 39-story, 773,000-square-foot, transit-oriented office tower was originally built in 1968 and was designed by Shreve Lamb & Harmon. The property features 150 parking spaces and 8,000 square feet of retail space. Nomad Tower is LEED Gold and Energy Star-certified.
A subsidiary of Global Holdings acquired the property from Jamestown and rebranded it. The company announced an $80 million capital improvement program and repositioning effort. New changes will include expanded amenities spaces, building-provided tenant meeting spaces, retail expansion, tenant fitness opportunities, lobby enhancement and bike access.
The tower has 52,000 square feet of available space over the next year, with an additional 435,000 available in 2018.
“Nomad Tower offers tenants superior space opportunities in an amenity filled tower with enviable access to the dynamic lifestyle in the surrounding neighborhood,” said Paul Glickman, vice chairman of JLL, in prepared remarks. “The comprehensive repositioning will further enhance the experience for tenants, who already enjoy abundant restaurants, entertainment options and access to all transportation options.”
The JLL team was led by Glickman, Vice Chairman Mitch Konsker, Senior Vice President Diana Biasotti, Vice President Benjamin Bass, and Associate Harley Dalton.
