Los Angeles—Canvas Worldwide announced the leasing of its new West Coast headquarters, a 36,392-square-foot office space at The Collective at Playa Vista, located at 12015 Bluff Creek Drive in the Silicon Beach area of Los Angeles. JLL’s Jason Fine and Blake Searles represented the company in the lease.
The two-story, 204,422-square-foot office campus features floor plates averaging 15,000 square feet and 613 parking spaces, according to Yardi Matrix data. Designed by Shimoda Design Group, the property consists of five buildings.
“Canvas Worldwide is a dynamic company that wanted a building that reflected its creative culture while providing a flexible, efficient floor plate that enhances collaboration and can accommodate the company’s rapid growth,” said Fine, in a prepared statement. “After an extensive review of properties in Downtown Los Angeles, Playa Vista, El Segundo and Downtown Long Beach, Canvas Worldwide decided The Collective at Playa Vista was the best location due to the vibrant Silicon Beach community and lifestyle that Playa Vista offers and the appeal of the one-of-a-kind The Collective building that evokes an emotional response when you step inside.”
The landlord, Tishman Speyer, was represented in-house by John Ollen. Carrie Gillis of JLL’s Project and Development Services Group oversaw the build out for Canvas Worldwide.
