The 5,000-square-foot asset in Pink Hill sold for $632,000.

Pink Hill, N.C.—Marcus & Millichap recently announced the sale of a 5,000-square-foot United States Post Office located in Pink Hill, N.C., for $632,000. Daniel Hurd, associate in Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. The buyer was procured and represented by Associate Douglas Diffie and Senior Associate Bruce Bentley III, both in Marcus & Millichap’s Austin office. Broker Raj Ravi assisted in closing this transaction.
Located at 5951 Highway 11 South, in Lenoir County, the United States Post Office serves more than 6,500 residents. The property was constructed between 1999 and 2000, and sits on 2.3 acres.
“We have been successful in creating a market for several United States Post Office dispositions in recent months and are extremely happy with the results of this sale,” said Daniel Hurd, in a prepared statement.
According to postofficeshours.com, it’s estimated that nearly 10,424 packages pass through this post office each year.
