Sotheby’s Int’l Realty Affiliates Welcomes New CMO

Madison, N.J.—Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates has appointed senior global luxury marketing professional Kevin Thompson as chief marketing officer.

Thompson will oversee the company’s marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives worldwide. He will also be responsible for strategic planning and execution of the company’s global media program, services and resources.

Most recently, Thompson worked as vice president, marketing and customer experience, for Simon Property Group. He has also held senior marketing positions at Barneys New York and Gucci.

“Kevin Thompson has an extensive background working with globally recognized luxury brands,” said Philip White, president & CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, in prepared remarks. “He has a comprehensive understanding of the luxury consumer, which is an invaluable insight for our business, and his drive to inspire while also innovating aligns with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand mission.”

The Sotheby’s International Realty network has approximately 20,000 independent sales associates affiliated, located across more than 800 offices around the world.
