Greenwich Village retailer Quality Eats expanded its New York presence with the opening of a second Manhattan restaurant at 3 E. 28th St. The landlord, Winter Properties, was represented by RKF Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster, Managing Director Jackie Totolo and Senior Associate Brandon Berger. Taryn Brandes with SCG Retail acted on behalf of the tenant, which is expected to move in by the end of 2017.

Quality’s modern take on the traditional steakhouse is exactly the type of inspired dining and gathering place that we are excited to provide to our prospective tenants,” David Winter, Winter Properties co-CEO, said in prepared remarks.

Constructed in 1916, the 61,986-square-foot building has 11 floors, PropertyShark data shows. In order to keep up with the district’s buzzing and up-to-date environment, the owners singled out Morris Adjmi Architects to reimagine its classic features, so renovations have been ongoing since 2016. Amenities will include high ceilings, open floor plates and a state-of-the-art design with an overall loft feel. The asset is minutes away from Madison Square Park, art galleries, restaurants, retailers, hotels and historic landmarks.
