Hyatt Place Portland–Old Port has completed major renovations to its guest rooms and public spaces. Located at 433 Fore St., in the heart of the Old Port, amongst unique boutique, tourist attractions and nationally recognized restaurants, the hotel is just a short drive from the Portland Jetport. The 130-key property opened its doors in 2014.
The $1 million renovation plan included the addition of an advanced soundproofing system to all exterior walls and recording-studio-quality, soundproof glass to guest room windows. Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, free a.m. Kitchen Skillet, 1,050 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting space and a 24-hour Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetizers.
At the Hyatt Place Portland–Old Port, there are two hotel bars and the popular Glass Lounge, which features unique craft cocktails inspired by period-era movies. Additional services include an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, catering for corporate and social meetings and a complimentary shuttle service to the Portland Jetport and Portland Transportation centers.
Recently, a Hyatt Place project received financing for a 520-key hotel in Manhattan.
