Savills Studley will be relocating its Seattle office to the Russell Investments Center in downtown in July 2017. Relocating from 600 108th Ave. NE in Bellevue, Savills Studley is moving in order to grow its Seattle presence, which began with the hiring of Eric Blohm, Eric Leland and Jose Oncina in 2016.
Located at 1301 Second Ave., the company will occupy 6,500 square feet on the 19th floor of the Class A building. The offices will be designed by IA Interior Architects to attract talent, accommodate future growth and maximize productivity. Project management will be provided by the company’s in-house team and the office will be built by Gateway Construction.
The 42-story, 886,000-square-foot Russell Investments Center offers a variety of amenities, including a 3,000-square-foot fitness center, on-site conference rooms, a Starbucks, a 23,000-square-foot 17th floor deck, a Chase Bank branch, Wi-Fi, convenience to mass transit and the ferry, and 24-hour security and key card access. The building has a 99 ENERGY STAR score, features underground parking, Zipcars and bike lockers, and several sustainable elements including dual-flush and low-flow features to conserve water consumption, a recycling and composting program, outside air measuring devises, CO2 sensors, automated lighting and motion sensors. The project is currently applying for LEED – EB Platinum certification.
“Our new office reflects the trends and standards that we advise our clients on, and is in line with our global brand,” said Blohm, in prepared remarks. “As we grow our Seattle presence with top-level talent, it is critical that we provide flexible, collaborative work environments for our team to utilize and enjoy.”
Blohm represented Savills Studley in the transaction, while Laura Ford of Colliers International represented the landlord, CommonWealth Partners.
