Janney Montgomery Scott signed for roughly 6,000 square feet at 145 W. Ostend St. in Baltimore, an office building that is part of Caves Valley Partners’ $275 million Stadium Square redevelopment, according to South B’More.
The financial services firm is the development’s first office tenant. The six-story, 72,000-square-foot 145 W. Ostend St. is the first office building to be completed and Janney Montgomery Scott expects to move in by the end of the summer. A second, 180,000-square-foot office building will be delivered in the project’s final phase.
Located between Federal Hill and M&T Bank Stadium, the mixed-use Stadium Square will include 300,000 square feet of office, some 75,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, 650 apartments and more than 2,000 parking spots.
Situated close to interstates 95 and 395, the project’s first phase also includes the delivery of the 300-unit Hanover Cross Street multifamily development and the repurposing of adjacent existing townhomes. The project’s second phase, which is slated for completion in the spring of 2018, includes the mixed-use building between Hanover Cross and Ostend streets. The third and last phase is scheduled to come online in the spring of 2019.
