JLL brokered a 37,715-square-foot lease transaction for INOVA Geophysical, a land seismic acquisition equipment and systems provider. The new office is located in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land, fewer than three miles from the company’s former headquarters, at 12200 Parc Crest Drive in Stafford, Texas. The new office’s proximity will allow for a quick transition and minimal disruption for employers.
Vice President David Buescher and Executive Vice President Jeff Venghaus of JLL closed on the deal on behalf of the tenant. Ryan Wasaff, senior vice president with Welcome Group, represented the landlord.
Finding the right upgrades
The existing improvements at INOVA’s soon-to-be new office, situated at 13000 Executive Drive, attracted the company to the location.
The flex building, built in 1995, features 15-ton crane capability, 24-foot clear heights and air conditioning in the warehouse component. The asset offers 54,000 square feet, of which 42,000 square feet are designated for office use. The remaining 12,000 square feet are reserved for industrial use.
The property’s location at the corner of U.S. Highway 59 and Highway 90 and in the vicinity of The Fountains shopping center makes it a sought-after building in the southwest industrial market.
At the beginning of the month, JLL brokered another Houston-area deal: the purchase of two acres to expand a self-storage facility in Pearland, Texas.
