Electrolux Renews IL Warehouse Lease

The global appliance leader renewed its lease with Duke Realty for the 965,183-square-foot Midpoint Distribution 801, located in Minooka, Ill.

Electrolux Home Products has renewed its lease at Duke Realty’s Midpoint Distribution 801, a warehouse in the Minooka Ridge Business Park in Minooka, Ill. 

Located at 801 Midpoint Road, the warehouse offers 965,183 square feet of space. Constructed in 2008, the asset features 145 parking spaces, cross docks, dock leveler, dock bumpers, loading doors, ESFR sprinklers, heated climate control, insulated ceilings, 50-foot by 50-foot column spacing and 32-foot clear heights, according to Yardi Matrix. Duke Realty purchased the property in December of 2013 from The Opus Group for $43.4 million. 

“Duke Realty is pleased that Electrolux has opted to remain in Midpoint Distribution 801,” said Susan Bergdoll, vice president of Leasing and Development for Duke Realty, in a prepared statement. “The building’s location along the I-80 corridor and just five miles from the I-55/I-80 interchange provides Electrolux with ready access to the Chicago metro area as well as the rest of the country.” 

Bergdoll represented Duke Realty in the renewal, while Eric Beichler of Mohr Partners Inc. represented Electrolux. Duke has been busy in the industrial sector, recently purchasing Bayport Distribution Center II, a two-building industrial warehouse project in Pasadena, Texas.
