Rolls-Royce has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to an expanded role for supporting its global property requirements. Rolls-Royce provides products and services across the five business areas of Civil Aerospace, Marine, Power Systems, Defence Aerospace and Nuclear Systems. The property portfolio ranges from offices, test centers, manufacturing facilities, storage and associated real estate.

The partnership began in the U.S. in 2012, expanded into Europe in 2013 and now has further extended into Asia-Pacific and South America. The contract will be managed by Cushman & Wakefield’s Golbal occupier Services business, with Ed Neild leading the efforts. The company will offer transaction management, strategic consultancy, occupier management and lease administration services with teams located at major Rolls-Royce locations.

“We are entering into a collaborative partnership to deliver a new operating model for Rolls-Royce that will see Cushman & Wakefield providing best-in-class transaction support, procurement of third party transactional providers and governance globally,” said James Maddock, head of GOS EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, in prepared remarks. “This is an exciting step for both partners and further evidence of the flexibility and appeal of our Global Occupier Services model.”

Last week, the Cushman & Wakefield Capital Markets team negotiated the sale of Transal Park, a six-property flex campus in Doral, Fla., for $22.8 million.
