SRS Distribution Signs 3 Baltimore-DC Metro Leases
The industrial buildings, featuring high ceilings and drive-in and dock doors, are located within easy reach of the company’s regional office in Chantilly, Va.
SRS Distribution, a Texas-based national supplier of roofing and building material, has signed three leases in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore metropolitan region. The transactions, totaling more than 87,000 square feet, were brokered by Tom Whelan, principal for Lee & Associates Maryland.
The leases were signed for 28,800 square feet at 7455 Lake Drive on the eastern side of Baltimore, 29,688 square feet at 10511 Tucker St. in Beltsville, Md., and 29,000 square feet at 6809 Bowman’s Crossing in Frederick, Md. All three warehouse leases will support the SRS Distribution’s regional office in Chantilly, Va.
“The common elements of each building are high ceiling heights, the availability of drive-in and dock doors to simplify shipping operations and a strategic location near major highways to minimize transportation times to their customer base,” said Whelan, in prepared remarks. “Each building also offered an outside storage area, which is a key component in the operations of SRS Distribution.”
Last November, Lee & Associates represented Deli Brands of America in another Baltimore industrial lease of a single-story, 42,000-square-foot building at Beltway Business Park.
