Clark Construction Hires New VP

Roger Fricke, Clark Construction Group, VP

Clark Construction Group has tapped Roger Fricke as vice president of its Irvine, Calif., office. In his new position, Fricke will coordinate preconstruction work for the company’s cultural projects in Los Angeles. The firm has worked on a number of cultural and civic projects across the country, including the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Clark Construction, Fricke worked for MATT Construction for 13 years as a senior vice president of preconstruction. Before this, he was employed by JE Dunn Construction. Throughout his career spanning more than 30 years, he has held a variety of positions—from superintendent to project director—and is currently a board member of the Façade Tectonics Institute and a LEED associate professional. Fricke’s previous construction projects include The Broad contemporary art museum, Wilshire Boulevard Temple and Petersen Automotive Museum—all located in Los Angeles—as well as Moda Center, a sports arena in Portland, Ore.

“Roger’s addition to our team reinforces our commitment to the future of L.A. and broadens our services to clients in Southern California,” said Carlos Gonzalez, senior vice president with Clark Construction, in a prepared statement.
