Cleveland State Community College has selected JLL to handle maintenance, including custodial and grounds services, for its main campus in Cleveland, Tenn., and two smaller campuses in Athens and Vonore. The property management contract is an expansion of an existing partnership between the State of Tennessee and JLL which began in 2013.
Located at 3535 Adkisson Drive, the college’s main, 10-building campus sits on 105 acres of land near the intersection of Interstate 75 and Tennessee Route 60. The institution was established in 1967 and offers a range of two-year associate’s degree programs.
“The State of Tennessee is leading the industry in demonstrating how a facility management partnership can benefit taxpayers and employees alike,” said Tom Foster, account director for JLL, in a prepared statement. “Working together for the last five years, we’re on track to deliver $50 million in taxpayer savings by the end of June 2018, thanks to the accomplishments of the many former Tennessee state employees who continue to deliver high-quality services to state properties.”
