CBRE has brokered a 28,950-square-foot lease on behalf of insurance firm McGriff, Seibels & Williams at 3400 Overton, a 173,000-square-foot office tower in Atlanta’s Cumberland submarket. The brokerage company will move into its new offices at the end of 2018 and will occupy the entire third floor and part of the first floor of the property.

Located at 3400 Overton Park Drive S.E., the Class A property was completed in July 2017 and features a fitness center, café, open and collaborative courtyard overlooking the Chattahoochee National Forest. The seven-story, all-glass building is LEED proposed and provides a covered, 650-space parking garage.

Nearing full occupancy

McGriff will join anchor tenant Synovus at the property. With this new commitment, only the second floor with 26,200 square feet and approximately 7,200 square feet on the first floor remain available.

The CBRE team of Senior Vice President Bryan Heller, First Vice President Peter McGuone and Associate Parker Nelson represented landlord USAA Real Estate, while CBRE Senior Vice President Craig Goldberg assisted the tenant in the lease negotiations. Located just inside Interstate 285, at the intersection of Akers Mill Road and Cumberland Boulevard, 3400 Overton is close to the Atlanta Braves’ stadium, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Cumberland Mall and Cobb Galleria.

“Tenants looking for brand new, state-of-the-art space in a convenient location are drawn to 3400 Overton as it is surrounded by a vibrant retail and dining scene, and offers stunning views of Midtown, Downtown and Suntrust Park,” Heller said in a prepared statement.
