Public Storage Opens Charlotte-Area Facility
The firm has opened a 900-unit self-storage facility in Huntersville, N.C., situated within 20 minutes of downtown Charlotte.

Public Storage has opened a brand new 900-unit storage facility near Charlotte, one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. The construction project is part of the company’s strategy to expand its presence in North Carolina.
Located at 10219 Bryton Corporate Center Dr. in the suburb of Huntersville, the facility is situated near the intersection of interstates 485 and 77 and is approximately 17 minutes from downtown Charlotte. A recently built Walmart Supercenter, the Northlake Mall and Lake Norman are within close proximity.
The new storage space will serve the community of Huntersville, as well as other suburbs of Charlotte. This area is densely populated, with than 124,000 people living within a five-mile radius, and the median household income is $67,414.
The three-story facility comprises climate-controlled units ranging in size from 25 to 300 square feet. Monthly rents start at $61 and go as high as $241, with the first month of rent available for $1, according to information available on Public Storage’s website.
