Hilton Opens New Embassy Suites in NJ

Embassy Suites by Hilton has opened a newly completed 176-key hotel in suburban New Jersey. The owner, an entity affiliated with local investor The Connel Co., broke ground on the property in 2015. Davidson Hotels & Resorts will handle the asset’s management services.

Located at 250 Connell Drive in Berkeley Heights, N.J., Embassy Suites by Hilton Berkeley Heights is situated 15 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport, with the nearby Summit train station providing transportation to and from New York City. Neighborhood amenities include eateries and The Mall at Short Hills.

The hotel encompasses 52 deluxe suites overlooking Watchung Mountains and 43 studio suites. Amenities include:

• 18,000 square feet of flexible function space
• 2,400-square-foot Solarium
• 10,000-square-foot The Grove at Connell Center, an outdoor space
• On-site restaurant
• Starbucks
• Indoor pool
• 24-hour business center
• Outdoor patio

“The design of our Berkeley Heights location is inspired by the natural surroundings of New Jersey—the modern farmhouse, which includes stone walls, unique barn doors and warm wood tones,” Embassy Suites by Hilton Berkeley Heights General Manager Ian Brodsky said in a prepared statement.
