Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of Texas Facility

Business Property Trust has traded Oak Cliff Bargain Storage, located in Dallas. Marcus & Millichap's Karr Self-Storage team represented the seller and secured the buyer in the transaction.

Marcus & Millichap’s Karr Self-Storage team has arranged the sale of Oak Cliff Bargain Storage, a 38,800-square-foot facility in Dallas. Business Property Trust traded the property to a private investor, according to Yardi Matrix. Marcus & Millichap’s self-storage team represented the seller and secured the buyer in the transaction.

Located at 3316 Hansboro Ave., the Oak Cliff Bargain Storage is near Interstate 35E, approximately eight miles from downtown Dallas. The area is densely populated; more than 144,000 people live within a three-mile radius, with an average income of around $39,000.

The five-building facility, which was built in 1973 and last renovated in 2015, comprises units ranging in size from 40 to 300 square feet. Characteristics of the asset include a remodeled on-site management office, showroom, garage-style roll up doors, concrete block construction, wide driveways, 16 surveillance cameras, perimeter fencing, personalized key-pad gated entry and solar-powered, motion-activated lighting.
