Largest Residence Inn by Marriott Opens in London
The 319-key hotel will include seven one- and two-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens, separate living, working and sleeping areas. The property is the third largest Residence Inn hotel in the world.

Marriott International has opened Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington, a 319-key hotel ranking as the brand’s largest European Residence Inn by Marriott development to date. An affiliate of Starwood Capital Group owns the property, while Cycas Hospitality operates it.
Located at 181-183 Warwick Road, the hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Kensington Olympia Exhibition Center. Additionally, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum are nearby.
The pet-friendly hotel offers one- and two-bedroom suites with separate living, working and sleeping areas. Common-area amenities include kitchens in each of the seven suites, as well as:
- Wi-Fi
- fitness center
- grocery delivery service
- Grab’n’Go market
- communal laundry facilities
- game room
- valet dry-cleaning
“Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington … not only is it the largest Residence Inn in Europe, but it is the third largest in the world, and a flagship property for the brand,” John Licence, vice president, Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International, said in a prepared statement. “London is a key market for extended-stay travel and we are delighted to launch the city’s second Residence Inn following last year’s opening of Residence Inn by Marriott London Bridge.”
Back in November 2017, Marriott opened the 194-key Residence Inn Miami Sunny Isles Beach, a 19-story building. The company has also expanded into other European markets such as France, with the opening of Residence Inn Toulouse-Blagnac.
