Capital One has endowed Senior Vice President Louis Rosado with the additional title of New York market manager of its Commercial Real Estate group. In his new position, Rosado will focus on implementing the company’s strategic plan, while also overseeing a team of relationship managers dealing with loans, deposits and capital markets origination. He will be reporting, in turn, to Glenn Gallagher, national market manager at Capital One.

An industry veteran with more than 20 years of real estate experience, Rosado served as Capital One’s senior vice president since 2007, executing more than $3 billion in commercial, construction and multifamily loans. Focusing on office and hotels, he also worked for Home Federal Savings Bank and Union Savings as a loan officer between 1997 and 2007.

Rosado holds a master’s degree in science from New York University and a BBA from Hofstra University. He is also part of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Real Estate Lenders Association and the Young Mortgage Bankers Association.

“Lou is deeply versed in the New York market and has significant relationships with real estate owners and operators across the region,” said Gallagher in a prepared statement. “Our customers can expect an appreciation of market nuances and a high degree of creativity and flexibility from his team.”

In April 2018, Capital One arranged $175 million in financing for 600 Third Ave., a 575,000-square-foot, Class A office building in Manhattan.
