CBRE Appoints San Diego Managing Director

In her new role, Dahl will focus on managing more than 250 real estate professionals in Carlsbad, Calif., and San Diego.

CBRE has named Natalie Dahl its new managing director for investor services in the San Diego area. In her new role, Dahl will manage the company’s Investor Leasing, Investment Sales, Debt & Structured Finance, Asset Services, Valuation & Advisory Services businesses. She will also oversee CBRE’s Capital Markets business across Southern California.

With the help of CBRE Executive Managing Director John Frager, Dahl will focus on managing more than 250 real estate professionals in Carlsbad, Ca., San Diego Downtown and San Diego UTC.

In her previous role, she served as CBRE’s Capital Markets vice president for Northern California, providing market strategy, operational leadership, while also delivering investment sales, debt and structured-finance services to investors, family offices and corporate occupiers. Between 2001 and 2012, Dahl worked as a sales manager and platform operator for CBRE’s national Capital Markets, based in San Diego.

“We received great interest from a number of highly qualified candidates for the managing director position, but Natalie’s extensive experience and skill placed her at the top of the list,” said Frager. “We are excited to have her join our San Diego business and look forward to utilizing her 17 years of CBRE platform and market knowledge to build an advantage for our investor clients in San Diego.”

Dahl holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.

CBRE has also recently arranged the sale of an office building in Carlsbad, Calif., for $17.4 million.
