Nuveen affiliate TH Real Estate has leased 112,233 square feet of industrial space at Seneca Industrial Park, an 885,000-square-foot, Class A distribution and warehouse park in Pembroke Park, Fla. Transwestern South Florida worked on behalf of the landlord in the lease transactions.
Located at 2500 S.W. 32nd Ave., Seneca Industrial Park provides easy access to Interstate 95 at the Miami-Dade County and Broward County line. Fort Lauderdale is 12 miles away, while Miami is less than 20 miles south. The park sits between the airports and seaports of both metros.
HD Supply, a distributor of maintenance, repair and operations solutions and construction supplies, leased the largest industrial space—46,498 square feet. Colliers International Vice President Erin Byers represented the tenant in the deal. Tools, equipment, fasteners, supplies and safety products distributor Colony Hardware also signed a new 25,476-square-foot lease at the property. Avison Young’s Wayne Schuchts and Bobby Benton assisted the company.
Two other firms renewed their lease agreements: Chefs’ Warehouse, a food and restaurant supply brand—for 27,017 square feet—and Smart Van Lines, a moving and transportation services company—for 13,242 square feet. Transwestern Managing Director Thomas Kresse, Senior Managing Directors Ben Eisenberg and Walter Byrd, and Vice President Carlos Gaviria facilitated the lease negotiations. In May, the same team added a new tenant to PS Business Parks at Miami International Commerce Center in Doral, Fla.
