ShopOne Hires New EVP of Leasing
Bob Dake will be responsible for leading the company's leasing and merchandising strategies, reporting directly to CEO Michael Carroll.
ShopOne Centers REIT Inc. has hired Bob Dake as its executive vice president of leasing. Dake will report to CEO Michael Carroll and will be a member of the executive management team.
In his new role, Dake will be responsible for leading the company’s leasing and merchandising strategies. Prior to joining ShopOne, he was the vice president of National Accounts at Brixmor, managing relationships and leasing activity with major retailers within the company’s portfolio. Before that, Dake was the regional leasing director at Equity One, where he handled the leasing and management of more than 1.5 million square feet of real estate in the Southeast.
“I am excited to join ShopOne, which has proven to be a leading owner, operator and manager of high-quality shopping centers,” Dake told Commercial Property Executive. “I believe my insights, experience and industry relationships will prove beneficial in advancing the company’s leasing strategies as we continue to grow our national footprint.”
Dake is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on the organization’s New York Next Generation and NEXUS Planning Committees. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
