Formica Corp., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of surfacing products for commercial and residential applications, has introduced the Formica Infiniti ColorCore2 Laminate line and an expansion of the Formica ColorCore2 line. The two product lines offer design-driven functional solutions for commercial spaces that require high-performance features.

The Formica Infiniti ColorCore2 Laminate line features a soft-to-the-touch matte finish that is fingerprint resistant, offers anti-microbial surface protection, thermal healing capabilities and has a matching colored core that eliminates the brown edge typically seen with laminate.

The product is ideal in high-traffic settings, including hotels, restaurants, offices, hospital lobbies and school libraries. It can be applied horizontally or vertically for casework, countertops, furniture and signage. Formica Infiniti ColorCore2 Laminate is available in New White, White, Black and Storm colors, and prices range between $7-8 per square foot, according to the manufacturer.

The company has also expanded its ColorCore2 Laminates with 11 new patterns, offering an assortment of solid colors and patterns that go all the way through with no brown edge.

“Working closely with architects and designers in the industry, we know they look for products that are not only beautiful, but also meet the needs of high-traffic public spaces,” Renee Hytry Derrington, global design lead at Formica Corp. said in a prepared statement.
