A 109,652-square-foot showroom property has traded hands in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Scottsdale Design District is a direct-to-trade marketplace for Phoenix-area interior designers and is occupied by both local and national retailers, interior designers and art dealers.
Scottsdale Design District is located at 2712 N. 68th St., about 2 miles from downtown Scottsdale and a 20-minute drive from downtown Phoenix. The property is occupied by retailers including John Brooks, Pindler & Pindler, Century, Town and Kravet.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Toci, Chad Littell and Brent Mallonee arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller. The investment sponsors were Brandon Holdings and IX Advisors, while key investors included Stephen Summers of Mockingbird Interests and a Hong Kong family office which anchored another acquisition in the metro Phoenix area earlier this year.
“This location is well known in the design community as the go-to place for high-end home furnishings and art. This is our second transaction with the investment sponsor Brandon Holdings and IX Advisors in 2018, and we are glad they see the same value and potential in the Phoenix market as we do,” Chris Toci, executive managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, said in prepared remarks.
