Hilton Opens New DoubleTree in Spain
Opened in partnership with owner Empresas Phoenix, the 133-key property near Murcia is the flag's fifth hotel in the country.

In partnership with Empresas Phoenix, Hilton has opened a 133-key DoubleTree hotel near Murcia, Spain. DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort marks the first collaboration between the two companies and the brand’s fifth Spanish property. T3 Hospitality Management will operate the hotel.
Located at 6 Calle Anchoa in Roldán, inside the La Torre Golf Resort, the property is 20 minutes away from the new Murcia International Airport and an hour from Alicante International Airport. Nearby attractions include the Cathedral at Cardenal Belluga Plaza, the Cathedral de Santa Maria, as well as Murcia’s city center and markets.
The 133 guestrooms, including royal and presidential suites, come with private terraces overlooking the lake or golf course. The resort offers access to several restaurants, a golf course and a convention center.

In October, Woodbine Legacy Investments paid $152 million for DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles with plans to invest $35 million in renovations.
