Stonebridge to Open Dual-Brand Hilton Hotel
Once completed, the property will include a Tru and a Home2 Suites by Hilton and will be the second dual-branded hotel Stonebridge has opened in Denver.
Tru by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center
Denver-based Stonebridge Cos. will open a dual-brand Hilton property totaling 382 keys in Denver. The project, which includes both a Tru and a Home2 Suites, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. This marks Stonebridge’s second dual-branded hotel in the metro and its first Tru by Hilton.
Located at 801 15th St., on approximately 0.4 acres, the development is being built on a former parking lot. Situated in the heart of downtown Denver, the 22-story building offers convenient access to the Colorado Convention Center and to various dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
Tru by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center, a 176-key hotel, will include common-area amenities such as an open lobby with area designed to work, play games and eat, a 24-hour Eat & Sip market with gourmet snacks and drinks, free Wi-Fi and a fitness center.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center will feature 206 suites. The pet-friendly property will offer Home2 Suites amenities including Spin2 Cycle, guest laundry, fitness center and Home2 MKT for grab-and-go.
The dual-branded hotel started construction in November 2017 and plans for the property include 187,000 square feet of lodging and 2,600 square feet for a restaurant. A conference room, restaurants and bars, valet parking service and a 74,500-square-foot, five-story parking garage with 153 spaces are also planned. The deal comes on the heels of Hilton opening a 133-key DoubleTree hotel near Murcia, Spain.
