Purple USA Relocates, Signs New Manhattan Lease
The lifestyle communications and public relations agency will occupy the entire 13th floor of GFP Real Estate's Chelsea building.
Purple USA has signed a seven-year lease for 9,800 square feet at GFP Real Estate’s 322 Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. The lifestyle communications and public relations company will occupy the entire 13th floor of the 21-story office building, relocating from 120 Wooster St.
Located at 322 Eighth Ave., the property comprises 175,000 of space, including 10,000 square feet of first-floor retail. Completed in 1925, the building underwent renovations in 2016, resulting in an upgraded facade, entrance and a glass storefront. The property features a marble lobby with a restored period ceiling mural and five high-speed elevators.
Situated in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, the premier asset provides easy access to various transportation options. According to Yardi Matrix, availabilities range from 3,100 to 11,100 square feet. Notable tenants include Juice Pharma Worldwide, Sam Schwartz Engineering, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and YWL Foundation.
JLL Senior Vice President Simon Landmann and Executive Vice President Jonathan Fanuzzi represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Senior managing Director Allen Gurevich worked on behalf of the landlord in-house. Last month, GFP Real Estate inked a $758 million lease in another of its Manhattan office buildings.
