Alteon Health Relocates Maryland HQ

Milestone Business Park

Alteon Health has leased 24,336 square feet at Milestone Business Park, a 635,000-square-foot office campus in Germantown, Md. The company is expected to relocate from its current location on Century Boulevard in the second quarter of 2019. 

Situated at 1 Milestone Center Court and 12409, 12410 and 12420 Milestone Drive, the four-building campus is easily accessible due to its proximity to Interstate 270 at the Father Hurley Boulevard exit. The Class A complex provides on-site amenities such as an 83-seat conference center, concierge services, a fitness facility, yoga and meditation classes as well as a parking ratio of four spaces per 1,000 square feet.

Alteon Health, a health care solutions provider, will move into the building at 12420 Milestone Court Drive. The relocation increases Altheon’s footprint by 43 percent. According to Yardi Matrix data, the six-story property was constructed in 2009 and is LEED Gold certified. 

J Street Cos. Executive Vice President Paul Davis and Dan McNulty, sales and leasing associate, brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant, while James Matan represented the landlord, Matan Cos., in-house.

In February, FCP also relocated its Maryland headquarters—the real estate investment company signed a 13,914-square-foot lease with JBG Smith at Chase Tower in Chevy Chase, just a 20-minute drive from Milestone Business Park.
