CBRE Makes 2 Top Promotions
The firm named Chris Connelly as CEO of advisory services and promoted Emma Buckland as global president of property management.
CBRE has appointed Chris Connelly as CEO of the firm’s advisory services for the Americas. The company is also promoting Emma Buckland as global president of property management, a position previously held by Connelly. Connelly will assume his new role immediately, whereas Buckland will take over her new position at the beginning of next year.
In his new role, Connelly will oversee more than 18,000 employees across the Capital Markets, Advisory & Transaction Services, Advisory Project Management, Property Management and Valuations business lines in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Connelly has been with CBRE for 15 years and has held several leadership roles, serving as president of the Americas Mountain-Northwest Division, president of the Midwest Division, and executive managing director of the Chicago region.
Before joining CBRE in 2016, Buckland was the leader of EMEA operations for FICO. Prior to her new promotion, she led CBRE’s property management division in the U.K. In her new role, Buckland will oversee the property management sector, a global business that includes a portfolio of more than 2.7 billion square feet.
