Quantum Real Estate Advisors has brokered the sale of The Shops at Oak Summit, a 9,000-square-foot shopping center in Winston-Salem, N.C. According to Forsyth County records, the seller traded the asset to a local investor for $1.8 million. The property previously changed hands in 2016, shortly after completion, for $1.7 million.
The Shops at Oak Summit is located on a 1.2-acre parcel at 480-490 E. Hanes Mill Road alongside the larger Oak Summit Shopping Center in a concentrated retail district near U.S. Route 52. The property is shadow anchored by a Walmart Supercenter, 7 miles north of downtown Winston-Salem. The asset was fully leased at the time of sale by Anytime Fitness, Great Clips and Cricket Wireless.
Quantum Senior Vice President Daniel Waszak represented the seller in the transaction. In April, the brokerage assisted both parties in the $2.7 million sale of a retail asset in Joliet, Ill.
