After three decades in Northwest Dallas, the entertainment and dining chain Dave & Buster’s will leave its current headquarters and move to a new office in Coppell, Texas. The company signed a 67,200-square-foot lease with Columbia Texas Lakeshore Industrial LLC to occupy space at Coppell Commerce Center I & II, which totals 329,000 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield and JLL represented the tenant during the lease negotiations, while Lincoln Property Co. worked on behalf of the landlord.

Coppell Commerce Center I & II is situated on nearly 33 acres at 1221 S. Belt Line Road. The project was built in 2000, CommercialEdge data shows, and features a parking ratio of 5.6 spaces per 1,000 square feet.

The new office space allows Dave & Buster’s to consolidate its staff across a single story as opposed to multiple floors, thus enhancing collaboration, according to a prepared statement by Robbie Baty, executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield.

The tenant roster of the single-story Class B property includes Logistics Plus and Draeger US Interlock. The move-in ready Coppell location was formerly home to Vari and it is fully furnished with the workspace innovation company’s branded office furniture, according to The Dallas Morning News. Vari recently topped out its new headquarters dubbed VariSpace Coppell in the same Dallas suburb, some 4 miles away.

Coppell Commerce Center’s proximity to Interstate 635 along with its “plug and play nature” was a decisive characteristic, noted Cribb Altman, Managing Director at JLL, in the press release. The property is 6 miles northeast of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and some 18 miles away from downtown Dallas.
