TSA Takes 44 KSF in Atlanta

The agency is the office property's second federal tenant.

The Transportation Security Administration has signed a 44,000-square-foot office lease at 1500 Centre, a 97,969-square-foot, Class A office building situated within Camp Creek Business Center in Atlanta’s East Point suburb.

Lincoln Property Co.’s Southeast division team, in collaboration with its Government Services Group, negotiated on behalf of the landlord, a partnership between SG Property Services, Knox Properties and Hight Property Group.

The long-term lease agreement brings the office property to 95 percent occupied. TSA is not the only federal user present at the property: In 2020, the two teams secured a 29,737-square-foot long-term lease with the U.S. General Services Administration.

Built in 2008 and upgraded in 2018, the property is located at 1500 Centre Parkway and includes 50,326-square-foot floor plates and 451 parking spots.

Situated on an 8-acre lot, near Camp Creek Marketplace, a 1.1 million-square-foot shopping center, the property is close to interstates 85, 75, 20 and 285, allowing easy access to the larger metro area The building is 6 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 15 miles from downtown.

The Lincoln Property Co. Southeast team of Executive Vice Presidents Hunter Henritze and Michael Howell, together with Vice President Caroline Fisher, worked on behalf of the ownership and are in charge of marketing the property for lease.

Recent leases in Atlanta

Earlier this year, Rubenstein Partners secured a 130,000-square-foot office lease with one of MARTA’s divisions at Uptown Atlanta. The company’s Capital Programs, Expansion and Innovation Group will relocate at the 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use property, moving up to 540 employees.

In December 2022, renewable energy provider JTEC Energy signed an 18,755-square-foot lease at LEE + White, a redeveloped West End warehouse complex that will serve as the company’s new headquarters.
