Access Industries Nabs Stake in Historic Sunset Boulevard Hotel

JK Hotel Group has partnered with Access Industries to revive the historic Sunset Tower Hotel on West Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard. Hotelier Jeff Klein, who has held a minority stake in the property since Elevated Returns purchased an 80 percent stake in 2015, will continue to oversee operations of the A-list celebrity hotspot.

The luxury apartment hotel was designed by Leland Bryant in Art Deco style and opened in 1930. The landmark 15-story building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 81-key hotel is located at 8358 Sunset Blvd.

Property amenities include two restaurants, an outdoor pool with views of Los Angeles, a 24-hour 1,000-square-foot fitness center and a salon and spa. The partnership plans to upgrade the hotel’s guest rooms and bring a redesigned indoor-outdoor bar and dining area in The Terrace Room. Guests can stroll to the Sunset Plaza with its boutiques, bookstores, and outdoor cafes and are minutes away from Beverly Hills and Hollywood.
