Acer Brings Portable Projector to US Customers

The palm-sized and lightweight C202i can project a 70-inch image from 6.5 feet. The wireless projector features both HDMI and USB input.

Acer America has introduced the C202i portable projector to US customers. With 5.9 x 5.9 x 1.3 inches and weighing 12.3 ounces, the wireless product is palm-sized and lightweight. The DLP LED projector can execute a 70-inch image from 6.5 feet. Content can be viewed as a video viewer, document reader or through mirroring.

The C202i features HDMI input, can read from a USB drive or Android, iOS, Windows and Mac PC devices using a USB cable. A built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides up to five hours of use without requiring a power supply. The projector can also be used as a power bank for recharging smart devices.

The projector delivers 300 lumens brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, with a native FWVGA 854×480 resolution or at maximum UXGA 1,600×1,200 resolution. The horizontal and vertical keystone correction up to +/- 20 degrees. The estimated lifespan of the product is up to 20,000 hours in standard mode and up to 30,000 hours in ECO mode. Additional features include a 2W speaker, remote control, tripod and soft cover.
