Acordis Technology & Solutions Relocates FL HQ

Acordis Technology & Solutions has relocated its corporate headquarters to the Miramar Park of Commerce in Miramar, Fla. The IT solutions provider has leased 24,200 square feet in MPC-11C at 2785 N. Commerce Parkway. The current office space is more than double in size than its previous location at 11650 Interchange Circle N. Vivo Real Estate Group negotiated the lease on behalf of the owner, while the tenant was self-represented.

Located in southwest Broward County, equidistant from Fort Lauderdale and Miami, the business campus is right off the Florida Turnpike and just one mile east of the Red Road Interchange. Downtown Miramar is only 2 miles west and Miami International Airport is within a 30-minute drive.

According to Acordis, they chose the Miramar Park of Commerce for its flexibility and its central location, thus being able to better service their clients located in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. The company intends to add 40 employees at the new headquarters and expand its workforce by 12 to 15 percent by 2020.

The Miramar Park of Commerce is the largest locally owned and managed business park in South Florida, with more than 5 million square feet of office, laboratory, pharmacy, light manufacturing and distribution space. The park is home to more than 10,000 employees from more than 180 national and international companies including GE, Siemens, Spirit Airlines, Tommy Hilfiger, Neiman Marcus, Humana, Quest Diagnostics, Toyota, Vitas Healthcare, Stanley Black & Decker, Pepperidge Farm and Nissan. 

Senior Director Carlos Velasquez of Vivo Real Estate Group, together with Sunbeam Properties’ Vice President Maridee Bell and Leasing Associate Lauren Pace represented the owner in the lease. A week ago, Velasquez was part of the team assisting Terreno Realty Corp. in a full-building lease at a 192,454-square-foot industrial asset in Miami Lakes, Fla.
