AD1 Global has purchased Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing, a 157-key hotel in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Hunter Hotel Advisors represented seller Vista Hospitality Group in the transaction.

Situated at 1000 Commons Blvd., the hotel is located within Barefoot Landing, a large mixed-use development comprising national retailers, unique boutiques and amusement attractions located adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. The shopping complex features more than 100 stores and restaurants as well as lakeside views. The Alabama Theatre, House of Blues and Alligator Adventure are all located nearby.

“This was a unique deal that allowed Hunter Hotel Advisors to merge two longtime clients of our firm on the disposition and sale of a really great property,” said Shamir Patel, broker at Hunter Hotel Advisors, in a prepared statement. “The Barefoot Landing market is seeing significant growth and has really become the upscale epicenter of Myrtle Beach.”

In January, Hunter Hotel Advisors represented the seller, DelMonte Hotel Group, in disposing of three Courtyard by Marriott hotels in upstate New York. Rudra Management and Empire Hotels purchased the portfolio.
